Does anyone know where I can get Super 8 film in bulk? I'm thinking of making a movie over 15 mins some time.

    Thanks

    Cool

What do you mean by bulk?

When a still photog says "bulk" he means buying 50 feet of film and a bunch of cans for 50 cents each and loading them himself in his darkroom. Are you thinking of loading your own cartridges?

Did you check the buy-sell posts? Someone's offering sound film right now. It may however be too much for what you need. But he does say "Or best offer." Maybe you could work somethin out.

Then again, he did say the stock's old.

Or, and you probably already know this, but just in case you don't - Kodak sells Kodachrome and Ektachrome discounted in multiples of 5 cartridges.

    Kodak--Is Kodak--Is Kodak.

If you go to www.kodak.com you can order all the film you want with all quantity discounts included. I don't know what the "Bulk" rate is these days but it used to be 10,000 feet.

    Best of luck

So can I buy it anywhere that sells Kodak super 8 cartridges? or do I have to buy it directly from Kodak?
